Your due date has to have been determined by a due date scan at at least 10+5 weeks of pregnancy. The blood analysis for NIPT can be performed from the 11th week of pregnancy at the SALT laboratory. After asking all the questions you have and having heard the different aspects of the screening process you will decide whether to have the screening performed or not. The nurse said that usually just means there was not enough DNA to determine if it was a boy or girl. I got my results back today and the gender was also inconclusive. I had my Harmony test done at exactly 10w1d, which was the absolute earliest you can do the test. I am 11 weeks 3 days with my first, Im 30 years old. NIPT (Non Invasive Prenatal Test) is a new test which analyses fetal DNA in maternal blood to check for Down-, Edwards- and Patausyndrome. ![]()
